I love this photo of the boy in front of the altars. I think Dia de los Muertos is such a cool thing. Your photos are great and I think really capture DDLM in the positive light in which it is meant to be portrayed. So many people think this is a spooky, weird holiday, but if you think about it, it's actually really cool. Thanks for posting!
These are the faces, colors, and stories I captured on the streets of L.A. and beyond. What I learned is that everyone has a compelling story to tell and that beauty can be found anywhere if we consciously look for it. We subconsciously believe that we are the main character in a movie. The main character never dies and that's why we live like there will always be tomorrow. Let me remind myself everyday that I am here only for a short while. I must try to savor each moment wherever I am before the final credits roll.
